LeFever Glory to God that our lives may one day be revealed to us and we each may see how we have been gently guided and used for God’s great purpose. How wonderful it is to realize He has been with us all along – that He has provided - that He has loved. More amazing still is to find that He has answered our prayers before we ever prayed them. This world amounts to nothing more than that we see God and find love in Him. For God is the origin of Love and Love is Life. My early work related to the world as one blinded by the world’s glitter - eating sizzle, rather than steak. My art reflected the semblance of ego and vanity, struggle, isolation, selfish destruction, searching, and portraits of deception and manipulation - a world without God - a world strange to peace - a world unable to transcend itself. Then came the Freedom ART Project. Paintings, invoking spiritual transcension. Illustrations of salvation. Lights at the tunnel’s end. Beauty that inspires and endures. In retrospect, it is amazing to me that my life's work will present our human dilemma - of the choice we all must ultimately make between God and this world. A choice of our transcending our selves and a material life, rising in choice to God and the spiritual - or to stay tied by our lusts in the struggle for our fleeting pleasures and illusive securities. The Freedom ART Project paintings are the beginning, for freedom is more than art, it is life. I dedicate my life to God’s Will that His Freedom may be available to all whom would seek it. The paintings are the start, God will reveal the rest as He moves along. My first twenty years of image making are complete. The second twenty years are begun. The Freedom ART Project is progressing and funding is being sought. This is a team effort. This vision will succeed with God’s Grace, and the grace of those whom participate. Jeff LeFever |
