It
has been seven months since I have contributed a Journal
entry. It is a different world for all of us - and more
for some than for others.
I
have pieced together recollections and although this journal
is meant to reflect an artist's process (this artist's process)
and God's Faithfulness - this past half a year plus has
seen more than an attack on the United States and entrance
into a possible third world war mushrooming from the hatred
spewing Middle East (it is chilling that those claiming
pious spirituality can be caught in this dark vortex - and
we pacifist and hawk, are kerosene atop a lit match) - yet
aslo, these past few months have witnessed divorce among
several friends of mine - introduction of cancer in my family
and the family of some of my friends, and two family deaths,
though they were distant and step relatives. A lot of serious
reflection is going on.
My
recollections are linked at the right of all the recollection
pages. Then the Journal will pick up in April for this year
with some new artwork.
God
bless all of you and may His Peace be upon us all. Of course,
no matter what, His Will be done - may we have the reserve
and the Faith to believe it is according to His plan - and
that His plan though it be beyond our understanding, is
greater, nobler, and joyous enough to eclipse the sufferings
we feel.
