The Fifteenth in Two Parts: Part II ... a Reflection.

***********
How jaded we become, even in the face of beauty – this too in the face of Grace.

Working everyday at St. John’s, the gift shop employees I asked, are no longer moved by the space. Burdened by their labors and superiors, it is the same for them as working anywhere else. “Work here for a while and you will understand”

So then – Beauty - doesn't have the power to transform? Concerns of the world are immunities to Beauty’s charm. As one builds tolerance, ' first love ' fades. How then is Beauty effective toward transcendence? How much of any effect is reliant on the intent of Beauty’s recipient? One must make the leap up – transcending the symbolic representation – to the place where the Idea of Beauty first emanates - moved in the heart to transcend, via reflection and contemplation and resonation. Prayer to transform ones spirit toward Godliness as measured for us, in the flesh, by Christ – Grace; Servitude; Care; Kindness; Humility; Selflessness toward one another; Love. Yet concerns for the world and our labor therein can be, too often, the immunization to such love verbalized by the will.

I stand guilty.
