Light So Sharp and My Tongue Bleeds From Tasting the Stillness.

Santa Ana winds have blown clean the Southern California Basin – Orange County in particular is recipient to the most chiseled and crystalline light. It is amazing. I have landed in heaven, to a landscape informed by God.

Being driven home from John Wayne Airport, my eyes are seduced, and glide through the air like lasers to every horizon. Majestically still, I am in awe. The light is warm to my skin.

Everything is so sharp and illumined. As if the landscape stands naked before me, in the most beautiful warm light, her imperfections are erased, a creature of God so perfect, so quiet, so inviting, and almost too beautiful to look at.
